Leadership Exchange, commonly known as LEX, is the Indy Chamber's annual immersion into the economic infrastructure of another major metropolitan region. This cultural deep dive is our opportunity to explore best practices and bring fresh ideas back to the Indy region.

The 2026 Leadership Exchange will focus on ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. ​The delegation is heading to Dublin to examine how Ireland transformed - within a few generations - from a largely agricultural economy after World War II into a high value, innovation driven hub that servs as Europe's gateway to the Western Hemisphere. We'll explore how Ireland pioneered value-capture strategies (from "no cost" manufacturing/free-trade zones and duty-free retail to modern sector incentives), invested deeply in education, and elevated Irish culture to attract business and tourism - all while advancing through periods of significant cultural and political turmoil.
